Welcome to our wedding weekend in one of our favorite places, Sonoma, California. Much to our parents’ chagrin, it’s taken a minute to get here but...WE MADE IT.
We are so excited to celebrate our big day with the people we love the most, all of you. Without each and every one of you, we wouldn’t be here today. We are especially grateful for our generous parents, Mark & Carla Vorhees and Tor Holtan & Carol Coleman, who are hosting our wedding and welcome dinner respectively.

Let’s Party!
In true Torhees fashion, we decided that a two day wedding weekend wasn’t going to cut it for us. As a result, we chose Memorial Day weekend for our big day so we could have three full days of events without the dread of work on Monday. As many of you are coming from all over the US (and some international) we wanted the most important people (all of you) to get plenty of opportunities to experience Sonoma and to get to know each other. The schedule of events (both hosted and non-hosted) are listed below. We’re hoping you can join us for as much as the weekend as you can -- everyone is invited to everything. 8.14.20 - Welcome Dinner: Kenwood ranch of sonoma, 6 PM - 10 PM

8.13.20 - Wine tasting
If you’re around on Thursday morning, the groom is organizing a wine tasting trip to some of his favorite local wineries. We will be leaving the Fairmont in the AM via bus and returning around 5 PM. Please reach out to him if you’re interested.

It’s already a big weekend for Steph and there is only one thing that can almost compete with her wedding and that’s her thirty fourth and a quarter birthday. Come cheer the birthday girl with a pre-dinner drink at the Fairmont bar for Happy Hour.

Originally we planned to organize a family dinner given the 3 day weekend. With the new date we’re waiting to see how many people stick around Sunday night before organizing anything. Stay tuned and let us know if you’d be interested in hanging one extra night!
Event Transportation
How do I Get There?
We are providing transportation to and from the welcome dinner, the wedding, and the after party. For those who choose to imbibe, we want you off the roads. For those who just want a ride, you’re in luck! With that said, there will be parking at both our welcome dinner and reception should you want to drive yourself. In addition, there are Ubers/Lyfts all over Sonoma County but since it’s both a holiday weekend and there is a big event in Napa, be sure to give yourself plenty of time.
We will have buses pick up in both Sonoma Square and the Fairmont. Pick up and drop off timing will be detailed closer to the event pending where all of you decide to stay. Please be sure to email us with your accommodations post booking so we can coordinate. See lodging details here.

Given it’s the height of summer, things will be busy and we urge you to book accommodations as soon as possible! See our room block and alternative options here. Our home base (aka Wedding HQ) will be at the Fairmont Mission Inn & Spa. The Welcome Dinner and Wedding Ceremony & Reception will both be in Kenwood, only 15 minutes north from the town of Sonoma (transportation will be provided on both nights).
